Many parents think that the child is comfortable in the sun until they noticed redness on his skin. Unfortunately, when it hits red, it has already led to a first-degree burn.

The most important thing is to immediately take the necessary measures, and for this purpose, as effective means can be used: wet cloth, yogurt or gel with a lot of  carotene (pro vitamin A), which cools the skin and should be applied after sunbathing. When the burns are more serious or cover most of the body, you must contact the doctor and do not forget to give your child to drink more fluids

Children are more vulnerable to sunburn because they have thinner skin. A single case of sunburn in childhood increases the risk of premature aging of the skin and malignant melanoma later in life, and it is believed that the influence of the sun is responsible for the appearance of even 90% of skin cancer.

6 golden rules for staying safe in the sun - Sun protection

1. Do not expose the baby in the sun if it as less than 10 months.
2.Moister the unprotected parts of the body at least half an hour before exposing to sun.
3.Initial exposure to the sun should not be longer than a few minutes.
4.Take the child out for a walk early morning or late in the afternoon.
5.Always put a hat on the child, because it best protects the eyes and nose of the child.
6.Give the child to drink plenty of fluids.
